County To Cut Jobs And Raise Taxes!

Beaufort County Water Department

Asking For $4.7 Million From Tax Payers

Water Drop

Everyone uses water throughout the day. Most never reach the maximum limit set forth by the water department, yet the director of Beaufort County public works department wants to install a $4.7 million metering system to save the taxpayers money. Many employees of the water department will lose their jobs, taxes will go up and so will the water bill.

As taxpayers, we need to stand up and voice our opinion! Get involved, flood the halls of the county commissioners meetings and take a stand. Voice your opinion. Below is a video clip of the May 7th meeting. You decide if this is the way to go or not.
