District 3 Convention

Through the efforts of a small team of diligent leaders who not only listen but were able to find a venue that can accommodate our anticipated 200 person audience, we are able to revert back to a limited IN-PERSON DISTRICT CONVENTION.  We will be meeting at the recently renewed Craven County Convention Center on the beautiful Trent River in downtown New Bern. As space is limited we urge all Delegates to register ASAP.

Our Annual Convention, with the Election of Officers for the 2021-2023 term; the consideration of Resolutions from the County Conventions, the election of Members-at-Large to our District and State Executive Committees and other business of the District will take place at the Convention Center in downtown New Bern. Check-in and registration (if available, at the door for a surcharge of $30, check or cash only) will open at 8:00 AM. The gavel will drop at 9:30 and we should be able to complete our business by 1 PM. The Convention Center is located just a block or two from the New Bern’s downtown with restaurant choices galore which will be covered in the Convention Program. 

Our Speakers will include Congressman Greg Murphy, State-wide and Federal Candidates and Judge Marion Warren, the former Director of N.C. Administrative Office of Courts and presently serving as Senior Associate Dean of Regent University Law School. If you attended our District Convention in Havelock several years ago you will recall his bombastic and entertaining presentation style.
