Creates a constitutional right to hunt, fish and protects our gun laws
The ballot measure would establish state constitutional right to hunt, fish, and harvest wildlife for the people of North Carolina. The amendment would subject the right to hunt, fish, and harvest wildlife to statutes to promote wildlife conservation and management and preserve the future of hunting and fishing. The measure would also declare that hunting and fishing are the preferred means of managing and controlling wildlife in North Carolina.
